Order of Service

The wedding ceremony may be held in a church or in any number of other venues. No matter where you have it, it’s a good idea to have Order of Service booklets (or some variation of this) to give to your guests as they arrive, so that they know the sequence of events.

Order of Service booklets may be presented in a basket, left on the seats or given out by ushers at the entrance to the venue where the ceremony is being held.

Order of Service
We provide everything from a single card listing ceremony proceedings to a church booklet listing every word/response in a full Mass! Most Order of Service booklets have a cover and 2-3 folded inserts, but the variety is huge and depends on the type of service you are having.

Our covers are usually C5 size (slightly larger than the folded A4 sheet, meaning that the inner pages won’t stick out), and you can buy these from us separately if you wish – many people are able to do the inner booklet parts themselves, or know someone else who can. You may also consider buying the blank paper from us too – we sell paper that matches the covers exactly, and our prices for blank stock are very competitive.

If you would like us to print and assemble the entire booklet, you need to provide us with the text you require, in Word format (A5 page size). We have provided 3 templates for this, for ceremonies of different lengths, for you to use as a starting point. Please use them! Just fill in what you would like on each page – don’t worry about the font; we will format the text in your chosen fonts. If you need more pages, please add 4 (one sheet of A4, folded and printed back-to-back makes 4 pages), and always leave the last page of the inserts blank, as this will be stuck down to the inside back cover, as indicated on the templates.

Remember, you don’t necessarily have to have Order of Service booklets if your ceremony is very simple and informal – however, even a simple card with a running order is considerate to let your guests follow along.
